Jon Rippon FCCA
Rippon Publishing Management founder and director, Jon Rippon, is a board level finance and operations director with more than 15 years experience mainly in the publishing and media industries, and a proven track record of achieving company objectives and growth plans.
He worked as the financial controller at C&B Publishing Plc - the listed owners of the Collins & Brown publishing group who also owned imprints such as Pavilion Books and Belitha Press - until 2001, when he became finance director of Frances Lincoln Limited. Working alongside John Nicoll, the owner and managing director, he grew and developed the company until he oversaw its eventual sale to the Quarto Group in 2011.
In August 2012 Jon joined Constable & Robinson Limited (C&R) as group finance director overseeing its finance and operations functions before eventually overseeing the company’s sale to Little, Brown Book Group (part of Hachette UK).
After overseeing the successful integration of C&R and its systems into Hachette UK, Jon left Little, Brown in October 2014 to run Rippon Publishing Management full-time.
Jon Rippon is a member of, and is regulated by, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants as well as the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
Adrian Andrews FCA
Adrian Andrews joined as a director of Rippon Publishing Management in September 2014 after
23 years at Constable & Robinson, formerly Constable & Co.
Adrian joined Constable & Co in 1991 and was involved in the merger of Constable & Co. with Robinson Publishing when the two lists were consolidated as Constable & Robinson Ltd in 1999. Adrian was appointed finance director of the new consolidated publisher and oversaw its finance functions until 2012 when he stepped back into a part-time role and was appointed company secretary until the company’s sale in January 2014.
Independently of Rippon Publishing Management, Adrian also runs his own successful chartered accounting practice whose clients include Duckworth, one of the UK’s oldest independent trade publishers.
Adrian Andrews is a member of, and is regulated, by the Institute of Chartered Accountants
of England and Wales.
