Management Accounts and year-end accounting

We offer management accounts services, compiling regular management accounts to our clients’ specifications. Alternatively, we can manage and assist our clients’ accountants to produce the reports required.
 

Although we do not offer audit and assurance services, we can compile and file year-end accounts for our clients and assist them with their HMRC tax returns and obligations.

Author and rights contracts

We can attend to all contracts required by our clients, including: author contracts, sales and rights contracts and a range of business and commercial contracts. We can also draft initial agreements and negotiate contracts with authors and customers on behalf of our clients.
 

Production

We have close affiliations with very experienced production directors and controllers, enabling our clients to access a full production ‘department’, up to and including print-buying.

Sales & marketing
Through our vastly experienced network of affiliates our clients have access to a wide range of sales and marketing support: UK trade sales, online and digital sales, foreign co-editions and rights sales.

Information Technology

We have close affiliations with industry specific IT contractors who offer a range of IT solutions for networks, telephone systems, PCs and Apple Macs.

Digital & metadata
We offer our clients advice and support on a range of online and digital functions. An increasingly important part of publishing, but too often overlooked or under-utilised, metadata management is more than just a trendy topic; it has become vital in trading with retailers for both eBooks and physical books. Without complete and accurate metadata delivered timely using a system like Onix, customers and retailers simply are no longer able to trade with publishers and sell their books on to consumers. We are affiliated with Stison Publishing Solutions who we feel offer the best value for money in the industry.
